Avenue D Rec Center Accessibility

Avenue D Rec Center

The Joseph Avenue Arts and Culture Alliance unites with the Avenue D Rec Center in showcasing performers for the first time at this year’s Rochester Fringe Festival. Just north of downtown Rochester, the Avenue D Rec Center is at the center of a vibrant community experiencing a grassroots renaissance. The center’s gymnasium, used for this year’s festival, will accommodate 200 people and is a frequent venue for ensembles that challenge the conventional performance experience by engaging audience members of all backgrounds head-on with the raw power of performance art, free from technical constraints.
